Organization
The GUide Committee includes broad representation from members of the Georgetown University community who focus on Web communications and technologies. The activities of the GUide Committee are carried out by following groups:
Executive Committee
The GUide Executive Committee leads the ongoing activities of the GUide Committee throughout the year. The Committee consists of members representing the various campuses, departments and units that comprise the Georgetown community. In addition to these members, meetings of the Executive Committee are led by the co-chairs.
The co-chairs of the Committee are:
- Scott J. Anderson (Office of Communications)
- Emma Craswell (University Information Services)
- Daniel G. Powers (School of Foreign Service)
At-Large Community
The GUide At-Large Community provides broad representation from the many areas of the Georgetown community that participate in efforts related to Web communications and technologies. The At-Large Community serves as a source of new institutional projects, for the development of resources and services, and future programming. Meetings of the At-large Community are led by the chair (or co-chairs).
Working Groups
Working groups are formed by the Executive Committee to pursue particular projects or carry out GUide Committee tasks. Working group membership and leadership are assigned ad hoc by the Executive Committee and may include interested individuals outside of GUide.
